We are sailors again!
Hello All,
A new crew came down with me on Friday. We all arrived at the same time but on different flights. We camped out on the boat since it was hauled out at a boatyard named Catamaran Village. The yard and the mechanic worked all day Saturday and Sunday to finish the contracted work so we could launch Monday AM.
The new crew consists of old and new friends. Richard Beck is a dentist pal of mine that has sailed with me many times. Lou Kiser is a relatively new friend and is an underwater photographer. Richard will be with BELLA GATTA for 2 weeks and Lou for 3 weeks. They are hardy and fun crew.
We intend to clear customs and immigrations tonight and set sail for Grenada (80 miles) before first light. Hope to catch several nice fish. The weather charts show clear skies and light winds. Haven’t seem any pirates. So we will be off and let you know when we get to Grenada. Steve
